Televisions, heavy mirrors, and artwork mounted level and anchored to hold — including concrete block walls and concealed cables.

TV, Mirror & Artwork Mounting in Pinellas County, FL

Mounting is the job where the consequence of getting it wrong is the most expensive. A television that comes off a wall takes the drywall with it and is not covered by anything. The whole job is anchoring: finding real structure, and using hardware rated for the load when there is not any.

We mount televisions of any size, heavy mirrors, framed artwork and gallery arrangements, floating shelves, and wall-mounted cabinets. Level, solid, and with the cables concealed if you want them out of sight.

What's Included

Signs It's Time to Call

  • A TV is sitting on a stand and you want the floor space back
  • You need mounting on a concrete block wall
  • A previous mount feels loose or has shifted
  • Cables are hanging visibly down the wall
  • You have a heavy mirror nobody wants to be responsible for hanging
  • A gallery wall needs laying out and hanging level
  • You are mounting a weather-rated TV on a lanai

Mounting on Pinellas County Walls

The detail that matters most here: a great many Pinellas homes are concrete block, and interior partition walls in a block home are often furred out rather than conventionally framed. A stud finder can read those furring strips as studs when they are thin and cannot carry a television. Getting a mount to hold on block requires masonry anchors and a hammer drill. This is the most common reason we get called to fix somebody else's mounting job.

Above-fireplace mounting comes up constantly and deserves a straight answer. It can be done and often looks great, but on a block or masonry chimney chase it needs masonry anchoring, and the viewing angle is higher than most people find comfortable for long stretches. We will tell you what we think before we drill.

Lanai and outdoor mounting is popular here given how much of the year is spent outside, but it only works with a genuinely weather-rated television. An indoor set on a covered lanai will fail from humidity, and on the beach side salt air will take both the set and the mount hardware. Outdoors, stainless or coated mount hardware is the minimum.
